Orthodontic Treatment Steps: Orthodontic Treatment Process and Strengthening Stage

Braces are attached to the teeth by 2 methods. These are traditional methods and indirect bonding method.
In the conventional method, the brackets are individually bonded to the teeth with a special adhesive. They are hardened with beam. The excess of adhesive is removed and cleaned. The process is completed with the re-hardening tool. This is done for each tooth. After the brackets are glued to the teeth completely, the wire called arc wire is passed through braces. Depending on the shape of the treatment, the braces can be fixed with the help of teeth rubbers.
In the indirect bonding method; It is much easier with the indirect bonding method which is a technological and effective method. It is an application that shortens the patient’s sitting time on the seat. Before dental treatment, a measurement is taken from the patient’s mouth and a template is prepared. With this template, the patient’s tooth model is taken. Brackets are pre-assembled on this model. By transferring to the teeth with certain plaques, braces are assembled in a short time. After the brackets are glued and hardened wires are attached with the help of rubbers.
You may feel a pressure on your teeth after braces and the arc wire are attached. This feeling of pain and tightness is the force used to move the teeth. After a you do not feel any pain.
You will need to visit your orthodontist once a month after your treatment starts.
Ortodonti uzmanınızı tedavi başladıktan sonra ayda 1 kez kontrole ziyaret etmeniz gerekecektir.         Your orthodontist can change your treatment according to the progress of the treatment. Orthodontic check-ups should not be interrupted in terms of prolongation and interruption of your treatment. You should follow your orthodontist’s advices.
Strengthening Stage After Treatment
reinforcement therapy is applied to prevent the teeth from retaining the new position and returning to its original position after active treatment is finished and the wires are removed. There are fixed and removable types. When your orthodontic treatment is over, you can finish your treatment with a nice tooth structure. But your teeth will try to return to their old places after a while after the wires and brackets are removed from your mouth. Reinforcement appliances help to adapt to the new positions of the gums, bones and muscles and allow the teeth to stay stationary for the time it takes for the bones to harden. If these appliances are not used, the teeth will return to their old places and your orthodontic treatment will be unsuccessful and incomplete.
You will have well-laid, healthy teeth and nice smiles after the strengthening stage of your treatment.
