Breaking or Sinking into of Arc Wires
The ends of the arc wires can change direction by brushing teeth, or the wires can start to come longer as the teeth move and settle in place during treatment. Since the arc wires are made of steel, spontaneous expansion is not possible. The long ends of these wires can sink into soft tissues. In this case, you change the direction of arc by using a pencil with eraser on its top or close it by using special wax. You can then make an appointment with your orthodontist and cut out the tip of it.
Wound Occurances in soft tissues such as mouth, lip and cheek
Aft-like white wounds may occur in the soft tissues of the wires or braces as they are not accustomed to the wires in the first week after getting braces on. These injuries can cause pain in mouth. In this time, you can lighten the wounds by placing waxes again in places where the touched touches. You can gargle with salty water. But this method can be a temporary method.
Arc wires’ removal from tube
There is a tube on on the band surrounding molar teeth at back and there is arc wires passing through this tube. This wire may come out of from its place as the result of eating hard food which should not usually be eaten. You can place this wire with the help of a clean tweezer.  If you can not locate it, you can make an appointment with your orthodontist.
Seperation of wires inserted to braces
Various appliances are used during orthodontic treatment. A wire is wrapped around the braces to attach it in some cases. This wire can come out of place as a result of eating hard food or brushing.
Coming out off Rubbers wrapping braces
Rubbers around braces may come out because of any reaoson. Call and inform your orthodontist when these rubbers come out or disappear and make an appointment.
